Rick Thorne - Contradicting Testimony

*(originally posted by "sqware" on GLP)*

I have found a big discrepancy with what custodian Rick Thorne says one of the dead staff in the hallway (either Dawn Hochsprung or Mary Sherlach) was wearing versus what the official report says the principal/psychologist wore. Rick said one of them was wearing an orange dress.

Per Rick Thorne's testimony (book 5, 00104263.pdf):

"Lastly, Thorne related that as he was being escorted out of the school, he observed two adult females lying in the hallway by the office. Thorne stated that they were near a bench and they both appeared shot. Moreover, Thorne stated that he did not recognize them, but he did notice that one of the females was wearing an orange dress.

His testimony was taken on 12/14 at 1251 hours, so it would have been fresh on his mind.

Now notice in the Scene Report (Reports ->CFS 1200704597 -> 00118939.pdf , pg 20), detailed descriptions of both Dawn and Mary are given in their deceased state in the hallway. Guess what? Both are wearing jeans, not a dress!

Dawn Hochsprung #3 [OCME#12-17592]
....
Mrs. Hochsprung had brown hair and was wearing a grey and red hooded sweater, red long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and calf-length brown colored boots.
....

Mary Sherlach #4 [OCME#12-17595]
....
Mrs. Sherlach was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, tan tank top shirt, blue jeans, blue socks with brown colored shoes. There was a pair of eyeglasses on the floor east of her body. There was a blue colored material around her head that was possibly a head dress or large neck scarf.
....

So... who is lying? Anyone see a problem with this?

  1. There's a problem with almost EVERYTHING about the Sandy Hook event that clearly indicates that the official story is total BS. Rick Thorn has been identified standing in the background near a school bus while a TV interview is being held. Thorn is seen laughing, then, as soon as he realizes that there's an TV interview in progress and he's in line with the camera, he quickly turns and scurries out of view. Rick Thorn- "Acting" head custodian... for THE day.

    1. That same video he was talking to a man wearing a mask and as soon as they noticed the camera crew, the guy took his mask off. Of course the camera crew turned away from the man in the mask.

  4. Why was Rick lying? A better question is...Why was Rick THERE? He's not the regular custodian. He was let go from his job hours away from Newtown. The regular custodian just so happened to be off that day. My high school was SMALL. 25 student in my graduating class, and we had at least 2,possibly 3 custodians. Why wasn't one of them there, instead of Rick? They don't have any other janitors, or a janitor from another school, that could fill in for the day? Nov. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Rick Thorne worked as a custodian in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, schools for 22 years, earning $20 an hour cleaning floors, cutting grass and setting up for assemblies in the community, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) northwest of Boston.
In March 2011, the 5,500-student system put its custodial contract out for bid. Aramark Corp., a Philadelphia-based global food-service and facility-management company, agreed to clean the town’s seven schools for $841,000 annually, $400,000 less than the custodians’ union. Aramark offered Thorne and other members their jobs back, at $8.25 to $8.75 an hour. They declined.
“I was like family. I knew all the kids,” said Thorne, 55, who’s still unemployed. “It’s brutal. It gets worse every day.”

This article is dated 19Nov12.3 weeks later Rick is cleaning at SHE, the same day the regular custodian is for some unknownreason, not there that day. Lets not forget the regular custodian who wasn't there, was still accepting praise and gifts like he was there.

  6. I have gone through most or all of the documentation as well in varying levels of depth. The concern about alternative additional assailants is the most compelling issue since Lanza had no motive and we have no witnesses or evidence that he fired a single shot. Not one child witness said the shooter wore black. Not a single adult witness described Adam Lanza accurately or withing the most liberal of subjective parameters.

A child witness stated in detail that the shooter wore a heavy winter brown jacket. Book 5 document 00258277

An officer from another town assisting , Sgt Signore from Redding, stated that he observed a man being questioned wearing a brown jacket. The man in the brown jacket had no reason to be in the area. Sgt Signore assisted the other police in searching the man's vehicle and then taking him into custody thereafter.

WHO WAS THIS MAN AND WHAT DOCUMENT PROVIDES THE DETAILS ON HOW HE WAS IDENTIFIED AND APPREHENDED? I CANNOT FIND THE DOCUMENTS ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Here are the other pertinent documents that allude to this individual who is almost certainly a participant in the event that day.

Police Statement Documentation References Book 6:
    1. Lt. Vanghele document 00002060
    2. Detective VanNess document 00001113
    3. Sgt Signore document 0040428
    4. Officer Heibeck document 00040345

The only additional document that may give us direction is this one :

document 0006484 by Trooper Brian Marino - he asserts that he arrived and saw Trooper Mo standing over the suspect.

  7. Rick also said that he'd worked at the school for 8 1/2-9 yrs, but he didn't recognize the principal? I find that hard to believe.

  8. This is unrelated to the discrepancies in outfits...but does anyone think it's strange that the principal and the school psychologist were dressed so casually? Both were wearing jeans? I'm not saying they should have had three-piece suits on, but professionals in the field often wear slacks, dresses, and heels.
